Short description: Plant protection methods applied in horticultural crops. Possibility of application of biological method. Natural enemies of pests and their effectiveness in glasshouse and field crops. Requirement of horticultural plants relevant to pollination. Main pollinators of horticultural crops.
Full description: The most important natural enemies of pests of horticultural plants used in orchards and in greenhouses. Techniques of natural enemies application in biological method and way of assessment of their effectiveness. Bumblebees used in pollination of horticultural plants in field and in greenhouses. The possibilities of chemical plant protection products application in biological programs of pests control. The role of honey bees and solitary bees in pollination of horticultural plants.
